,Tafelblatt uses the same wood, an instrument maker would choose to build a violin, a cello or a guitar! We don’t do compromises in quality and honesty when it comes to material! Therefore we use a single peace of wood – processed without a drop of glue! To make sure that the 4 mm thin peace won’t bend due to moist air, we use slow grown wood with standing year-rings. This acquires a special Technique of cutting – By hand our wood provider cuts diagonal pieces out of the trunk – which for he needs to work on the highest level of his craftsmanship! The wood of your book, has been growing for more than 100 years!
